Central Energy AG is an independent, privately owned energy trading company with its head office in Zug, Switzerland. The company has been incorporated in 1997 and ever since has been engaged in trading and shipping of oil products. Recently, activities have been expanded to include biofuels and soft commodities. The success of the company is based on its profound knowledge in logistics and providing its business partners with custom-made finance and risk management solutions.
Since 2020 Central Energy AG is 100% subsidiary of Select Energy GmbH.

Petroleum Products
We trade crude oil and oil products across the barrel such as bitumen, fuel oil, diesel, gasoline and LPG. From the oil field to end consumers.
Soft Commodities
Through our subsidiary Agora Agri AG we trade a variety of soft commodities around the world. From the crop to the table.
Bio Fuels
We are involved in collection, aggregation and export of waste based feedstock for biofuels production. From the deep fryer to the filling station.
Environmental Social and Governance (ESG)
We have implemented strict ESG policies which we regularly review and update in accordance with the latest industry standards. We are fully ISCC approved for trading biomass and bioenergy.
Cash & Carry
We break bulk, arrange storage and deliver to specific markets and client needs with tailor-made finance and hedging solutions.
Cargo Aggregation
We aggregate supply streams from trucks and rail, arrange storage and ship standard size cargoes to international markets.
Commercial Services
We support your energy infrastructure projects, provide commercial due diligence and assist with trading execution.
